The Disney+ hit series The Mandalorian has inspired us all in different ways. I saw a lot of people posting Baby Yoda-themed cocktails. Some were tequila-based; some used various colorful liqueurs to achieve the desired "skintone." But I have always been a fan of Suntory's muskmelon-flavored Midori, a syrupy, jewel-toned liqueur that captures a popular and pervasive flavor in Japanese soft drinks, candies, and confections. So I made up my own drinkable version of the cutest Force-wielder. This sweet (but not TOO sweet) and tart (but not TOO tart) cocktail looks just enough like everyone's favorite 50 year-old baby to delight guests and take off on social media! This is the way ↓.
Ingredients
1 oz. Midori melon liqueur
1 oz. vodka (I used Tito's)
1 oz. pineapple juice
Juice of half a lime
Instructions
Wrap a coupe glass in a brown napkin. Arrange ice so two Luxardo cherries on toothpicks are placed properly as "eyes." Lime wedges as "ears." Shake ingredients with ice. Pour and serve.

Sweet drink! Sometimes it’s just fun to let your guard down and drink something silly! I’ll make this again for sure.
