This is the cocktail I decided to make for Dan Lakin's youtube concept, Around the World in 80 Drinks. It is bright, punchy, delightful... just like us✨
It’s important to know and practice classic/modern classic cocktails often. They will teach you how to understand ingredients and eventually give you the ability to create your own thoughtfully, balanced riffs and original cocktails.

Ingredients
2 oz Blended Scotch Whisky - Monkey Shoulder
¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
¾ oz Honey Water - I used a “Tropical Wildflower” honey
¼ oz Fresh Ginger Juice - amount depends on the strength of the root and if you mix it with sugar :)
Instructions
Technique:
Build in Boston shaker
Medium Shake
Double Strain
Suggested Glass:
Old Fashion Glass
Clear Ice - Rock - From Casa de Heilo
Garnish: Candied Ginger &
Mist of Islay Scotch - Laphroaig

I didn’t have fresh ginger, so I used Everclear infused with ginger. Also it was homegrown honey.
