The French Martini was created in New York City in the '80s in one of British-born Keith McNally's bars, during what was truly a cocktail renaissance both in New York and London. This simple cocktail is sweet, tart, slightly creamy, and a gorgeous blush color.
Ingredients
1½ oz vodka
½ oz Chambord (raspberry liqueur)
½ oz pineapple juice (preferably cloudy)
Lemon rind
Instructions
Pour ingredients into shaker with ice cubes. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Squeeze oil from lemon rind onto the drink. Serve up.
