I’m not exactly certain what is “Chinese” about this drink. I love and respect Chinese culture. Been there a couple of times and I would love to return. Traveling in China has given me insight and education and I have a profound respect for that country and culture. Not sure how any of that relates to this particular cocktail, but it is damn good!

Ingredients

2 oz Appleton Estate rum 

¼ oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao 

¼ oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur  

½ oz Lemon juice 

¾ oz Blue Moon Grenadine 

2 dashes L’apothicaire Mystérieux Szechuan bitters 

3 drops Addiction Mixology Instafoam 

Garnished with a dried blood orange

Instructions

Shake all ingredients over ice (no need to dry shake with Instafoam). Double strain into tall fizz glass or highball.
